Do you live in The Costa Brava? Or are you just visiting? Read all about The CBC, find out what we are doing. If you speak English, we’d love to meet you. Check regularly to see what events we’ll be organising.
As you look at our website you will see many more ideas for entertainment for all ages. As well as attending these events, you may also have a talent, which we hope you may wish to share with others.
Information on the C.B.C. and our dream for the future.
The CBC stands for ‘Costa Brava Chaplaincy (or church if you prefer)’
The money that is made at our events, will go towards our ultimate aim, to provide The Costa Brava with its own Anglican Chaplain. As well as taking regular services in a number of local churches, he or she will be there to offer kindness and understanding and spiritual guidance when required, to those who are in need of help, through family troubles, bereavement, loneliness, to name just a few. We need to find this person a place to live, a car, and fund their work life. This is a huge undertaking, but we are confident that with your help we can achieve this dream.
Throughout the year. We hope to grow in numbers, some people will be regular church goers, but many others who don’t choose to attend services will be encouraged to take part and are welcome.
| Let us know if you can contribute in any way, maybe with a talent or like Susan Banks Vintage bike event, or Kobie du Plessis recital you may have new ideas for fund raising. |
We do need to raise as much money as we can to fund our ultimate goal.
Do you have a good idea? or maybe you have done this before and have tried and tested suggestions, or perhaps you just want to help while making a few new friends. Call Penny and she will introduce you to the ‘Big Heart Group’, whose ultimate aim is to offer friendship, support and help, to any English speaking people in The Costa Brava. By the time our new chaplain joins us, we hope to have a large thriving, caring, and proactive English speaking community, from countries all over the world.
