The nearest cinema for English films has recently started in Palamos. Further South in Platja d’Aro were the original showings.
This maybe too far from Cadaques. The church at Madremanya is closer to you on your side of La Bisbal, if you ever want to join us, there is a service on the 15th jan and another on the last Sunday of the month, as usual. Come for lunch it’s a lovely way to meet people.

Are version originals shown in Palamos too?
I gather from the organisers that it the same as the films in Platja, In original English with subtitles.
It’s really good, They do their best to get the most polular films and it’s also achance to bump into a few freinds.

Thanks for the early info on movies in English (version original) Can now make plans! I tried the cinemespalamos.com for their list of VO movies but wasn’t able to extract that particular juicy bit of info.
By the way, for Lena in Cadaques – Palamos has two cinemas Arinco and Kyton. They are more or less opposite each other on C/ Onze de Setembre. They don’t show the same films so its not a case of being in competition with each other (I think the owners are the same in fact)
I tried again today with the cinemespalamos with success – Arinco has a version original film every Thursday, in fact there are 2 film shown this Thurs April 12th. Not sure if there are 2 every Thurs however, but certainly will be keeping a lookout.
Don’t forget the films at OCine in Girona on Thursday too at 20.30 – the Facebook group is Girona English Films and Things where you can find trailers and details
