The two cinemas in Palamós have now started to show VOSE films.
Sally and I have had a meeting with the manageress and she has agreed to screen different films to the ones at OCine.
Their next film is in English and is on Thursday, 22nd December at 6.15pm, 8.30pm and 10.45pm.

Here are your films for January and February. ‘ Anonymous’ still has to be confirmed but you will be informed if there is any change. For March, OCine are planning to screen The Iron Lady (the Margaret Thatcher biopic) and War Horse. The price of a ticket has gone up to 5€ for 2012. Compared to the 7.50€ you would pay in Barcelona to see an original version film, we think you will agree it is still good value for money.

The nearest cinema for English films has recently started in Palamos. Further South in Platja d’Aro were the original showings.
This maybe too far from Cadaques. The church at Madremanya is closer to you on your side of La Bisbal, if you ever want to join us, there is a service on the 15th jan and another on the last Sunday of the month, as usual. Come for lunch it’s a lovely way to meet people.

I haven’t yet been to a version original film, but now that l know where to find the info (thanks cbc.org) l hope to be going this month to see Tinker,Tailor…
Are version originals shown in Palamos too?
I gather from the organisers that it the same as the films in Platja, In original English with subtitles.
It’s really good, They do their best to get the most polular films and it’s also achance to bump into a few freinds.
